Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is much bigger than other hotels in Venice and conveniently located next to Fenice theatre. The standard breakfast was satisfying, and the wifi connection was good. Despite having to request multiple times to fix the hot water issue, the shower experience was still not up to expectations. Don't be deceived by the fancy lobby downstairs; it doesn't carry through the whole hotel. The room matched the pictures accurately, and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. However, considering the high price of £200 per night, I felt it didn't offer great value for money.
The hotel is ideally situated within walking distance of everything we wished to visit, yet provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle, boasting a lovely view of the surrounding area. The friendly staff and updated bathroom were definite highlights, and the rooftop 'honesty' bar added a unique touch. The only drawback was the slightly small size of the room, especially the shower.
The hotel offers spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms with lovely views over the canal, but the dining experience and Wi-Fi connectivity could be improved. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the location is ideal for exploring Venice.
The hotel was beautiful and suited the style of the building, with exactly the same presentation as in the pictures. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and we had the biggest room we have ever had in comparison to other cities. The Italian operatic style singing was a delightful change compared to the usual sounds of foxes and police sirens.
The hotel is located by a small canal, within walking distance of everything we wished to visit, but removed from all the hustle, bustle, and noise. The rooms were spartan and suffered from noise early in the morning but the Italian operatic style singing added a delightful touch. The service was friendly and extremely helpful, making our stay pleasant. The location, while close to Plaza San Marcos and Rialto Bridge, offered a peaceful retreat. The dining experience was friendly and helpful, but lacking some fresh fruits. Overall, it was a lovely stay with some minor room issues.
The hotel had adequate rooms, but we had to request twice to fix the hot water issue, and even when fixed, the shower was not satisfying. The downstairs lobby looks fancy, but that's where the charm stops. On the positive side, our room was spacious in an old palazzo, although it was adjacent to the breakfast room, leading to early morning noise disturbances.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were quite spacious, although showing some signs of wear, but they were spotlessly clean. Hot water issues persisted despite maintenance efforts. The grand lobby can be deceiving as it doesn't match the overall room quality.
The hotel is situated in a central turistic area, right by the canal, offering stunning views. The rooms, although clean and tidy, were a bit smaller than expected, lacking a proper shower and cold stone floors without provided slippers. The service was a mix of very friendly staff and some visibly stressed employees during busy times. The location is central and convenient, allowing for an escape from the typical Venice tourism on a quieter canal. The dining options were mediocre with limited choices and uninspiring meals. Overall, a mixed experience with some notable drawbacks but in a great location.
The hotel rooms were fantastic - really big, clean, and overlooking the canal, although they felt a bit old. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Fenice theatre, offering standard breakfast and nice WiFi. Despite the rooms being close to the cleaner's cupboard, they are much bigger than other hotels in Venice.
